Blackhawk High School Javelin Coach Bruce Van Horne

Bruce “Buzz” Van Horne coached track & field and taught at Blackhawk High School in Beaver Falls, PA for many years. Coach Van Horne had much success, made many friendships and valued connections in the mid-western track arena over that time.
Alas, the desire and love of coaching called him back as Blackhawk High School approached him with an opening for a javelin coach. Coach Van Horne had a thrower qualify and participate in the PA state track meet the first year he was back at coaching.
Coach Van Horne is an integral founder and member of the NTCA (www.nationalthrowscoachesassociation.com) and is a well-known and respected speaker at Track & Field clinics throughout the USA.
