ABOUT OTE Rubber Tipped Javelins:

These are the Rubber tipped javelins (not the regular tipped).

Aluminum javelins designed by the legendary Dick Held.

Because they are hand crafted and designed to exact tolerances, the result is a javelin that minimizes vibration and flies farther.

Men's World Records have been set using an OTE javelin.

Beginning throwers start out with the lowest range javelins, as the lowest range rated javs are more forgiving to new throwers who haven't developed great form, speed or skill yet.

As your form, speed and skill improve, move up to a higher range rated javelin, since they are stiffer and will work better with a skilled an experienced thrower.

High School Boys, College Men, and Men to age 49 throw the 800 gram javelin, but please note that most High Schools in states of NJ, ND, WA, and AL are basically the only throwers required to throw a rubber tipped javelin.

Throwing implements are not warranteed due to the nature of the event. .
