ABOUT First Place Men's Javelins:
  • These are the regular tipped javelins (not the special rubber tipped). 
  • The First Place brand is always the best quality at an affordable price, since First Place is the Everything Track and Field signature brand. 
  • First Place are durable javelins that fly "true." 
  • Beginning throwers start out with the lowest range javelins, as the lowest range rated javelins are more forgiving to new throwers who haven't developed great form, speed or skill yet. 
  • As your form, speed and skill improve, move up to a higher range rated javelin, since they are stiffer and will work better with a skilled an experienced thrower. 
  • High School Boys, College Men, and Men to age 49 throw the 800 gram javelin. 
  • Note that most High Schools in states of NJ, ND, WA, and AL are required to throw a rubber tipped javelin, not these regular tipped javelins. 
  • Please note: Colors may vary.

    • Throwing implements are not covered under warranty due to the nature of the event.

    We love it!! My son is a sophomore and it’s his second year throwing the javelin. It’s perfect for him!!

    Got this for our track team. Now we can have our older kids competing in Javelin. They have been asking for years now. Just another deminsion added to our team. The kids love it.
