This is the Take-Off System used for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney Australia and the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, Canada.This UCS Long Jump/Triple Jump Take-Off System meets the high standards and rules of the IAAF and NCAA.Consists of the foundation tray, blanking lid, take-off board, 4 lbs. of plasticine, and the plasticine insert.The Foundation Tray is constructed out of 1/4" galvanized steel and reinforced by 1/4" galvanized steel angles.The Take-Off Board is manufactured out of break formed, 1/4" thick galvanized steel substructure with a 3/4" oak top. The result... a board that will not warp or deflect.The Blanking Lid is manufactured out of 1/4" rust-resistant galvanized steel with stainless steel adjusters, and 3/8" galvanized steel bars for extra reinforcement. The blanking lid is extremely stable while in place. Manufactured to accept 12 mm of artificial surfacing.The Plasticine Insert is fabricated out of 1/8" thick rust-resistant galvanized steel, and oak with stainless steel adjusters.The UCS International Long Jump/Triple Jump Take-Off System also includes a no-jump section that replaces the plasticine for practice and one extra board.
