Throw them in practice and in competition meets.

Throwing implements are not warrantied due to the nature of the event.
Cast Iron Shot Put Sizes Available:
4 lb., 5 lb., 6 lb.
8 lb. used in many Junior High Schools (but check your own local rules – there are no hard and fast rules for middle school or junior high school throwers)
10 lb.
12 lb. for High School Boys
14 lb.
16 lb. for Men up to age 49
18 lb.
2k for women over 75
3kg for Women 50-74 and Men 80+
4kg for Girls and Women up to age 49, and for Men age 70-79
5kg for Men ages 60-69
6kg for Men ages 50-59
3.5kg., 4.5kg., and 17 lbs. training shots

Quick Arrival and Great Prices
We live in AK where getting things is often difficult and expensive. We ordered 2 shot puts, several discus. and seven bags of spikes. Everything came as ordered in a very speedy and inexpensive manner. Thanks so much! Now we just have to wait for the snow to melt before we can use them.

I used my new 3kg shot put in competitions and the surface began to chip almost immediately. Otherwise a good value for the price.
