I was amazed at how quickly this came! The ordering process was simple and the hammer was just what my son wanted.

I am a college thrower, and picked this up off the site during the summer, and have been using it since. It is great, works well, and is sturdy.

I love the hammer itself, just what I was looking for to keep up my love of the sport after college athletics. I was disappointed in the packaging however. I expected it to come in 2-3 pieces so that the wire would remain straight in shipment, however it came out together in a small box with the wire looped out each end, resulting in the wire being permanently rounded in shape. Still works, just disappointed in that one part

"For the money, or even more money for that matter, you won't find a better hammer on the market. I coach high school throwers and these were within my personal budget to buy a few in different sizes. The only issues that I've had with all three sizes (4k, 12lb and 16lb) are that the paint scuffs off easily and with an iron ball, it will rust if not dried immediately. Also, the wire seems to unravel every five to ten throws even with the wire locked. Keeping a pair of pliers handy fixes the issue easily. Overall really happy!"

This 3kg hammer was just what I needed for use in competitions.
