Great for track, not so great for XC
Very good for 3/8" and under. For longer spikes, either the spikes get stripped and/or the wrench get stripped really easily

a helpful tip
I do like this wrench a lot. The metal will strip if the spikes are in too tight. I tell my athletes to not screw them in so tight. We have bags and bags of spikes so if they lose a few during a race they're easy to replace.

Mighty wrench not so mighty.
Very disappointed with wrench. Had spikes that I was unable to remove with spike wrench so I used this wrench and it totally stripped the spikes. Had to use tools - drip, hammer, etcetera to get spikes out. This is nothing more than a spike wrench with a heavier grip.
