    I referee soccer and I need to keep track of both the elapsed time left and the actual time for scheduling so the accusplit 601 works great for that. I agree the month and year were not so easy to set but I don't need that feature.

    I frequently do a sprint workout on the track and I wanted a stopwatch I could hold in one hand instead of having to reach across my body to stop my running watch. This stopwatch is the perfect size for what I need. I removed the neck lanyard and will probably add a wrist length one soon so I don't accidentally drop it after a repeat. I wasn't able to set the month/day on it, but I don't need that function. The buttons are very smooth.
