Performance comparable to blocks costing 3 times more!
The angles are 5, not 4 as listed. I don't have anything to measure the angles, but I guess the first angle maybe less than the 45 listed. This is made out of heavy steel painted silver. Their are 4 spikes per pedal, plus 12 on the frame. With the weight and all the spikes, it isn't going anywhere when the sprinter pushes off. The spikes are 3/8 so I am replacing them with 1/4 needles, because 3/8 is quite a bit to push into a rubber track. The spikes on the pedals are angled backwards to further resist sliding. It would not be a good to store it outside, but if that isn't a concern for you, I doubt you can find a higher performing block for the money

Tall pedals!
What a great idea having the pedals 10" in height. We always have issues with kids needing a better foot placement. We will be ordering more.
